The Golf Association of Philadelphia presents a Course Marking Seminar for club professionals, superintendents and key club members from 8 a.m. to noon on Monday, March 27 at RiverCrest Golf Club & Preserve. The instructor will be Kirby Martin, the Golf Association of Philadelphia’s Director of Competitions.

Cost is $65 per person and includes a continental breakfast, luncheon and a complimentary copy of the 2016-2017 Decisions on the Rules of Golf. Those interested in attending may register up to four individuals per entry. Reservations are limited to the first 80 received by the Association Office.

The Course Marking Seminar is open to those interested in learning more about the Rules of Golf and course marking. It marks another avenue through which the Association fulfills its longstanding mission: to preserve, protect and promote the game of golf throughout the region.

Forecast Says Points…does that mean we get sleet?

The PAGCS hopes everyone is safe today and making it through this March winter storm [yes, apparently the calendar says it is still winter; who knew?!].

We have good news to share about the upcoming Course Marking Seminar on March 27: we have applied for CEU points from GCSAA and all forecast models show we should get a few. We predict anywhere from 1-4, but there is a slight possibility we could get sleet instead.
