PAGCS and Service: It’s Just What We Do

This week in January, every year, we are reminded to serve our communities, our fellow human beings. It is part of the annual celebration of Martin Luther King’s birthday.

The PAGCS honors a tradition of service and a spirit of community all year long through many efforts and programs. Not the least among these is serving The First Tee of Greater Philadelphia.

This past September, the PAGCS held Aeration Days at Walnut Lane Golf Course, one of the homes of The First Tee of Greater Philadelphia. Check out “Inside Golf” and its coverage of the PAGCS Aeration Days at Walnut Lane in this video [coverage of the Aeration Days starts at 13:45]: click here.

Busy Week A Win for PAGCS

Website launched … check; new sponsorship program rolled out … check; trade show traditions maintained … check! Last week was a busy one for the PAGCS.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to visit us at the Eastern PA Turf Conference and Trade Show. We truly enjoyed reconnecting with everyone in the new year. And the first week of 2016 gave us lots to talk about!

First up: the new website — the feedback so far is overwhelmingly positive. Speaking of the site, thank you to everyone who entered the contest for the $100 Visa gift card. By blind draw, the winner is Will McIlvaine, PAGCS member and proud representative of Primos Products!

In conjunction with the new site, we also rolled out a totally revamped sponsorship program for 2016. Check it if you have not: 2016 sponsorship. Let us know what you think and contact us with any questions.

Keep an eye out this week for an e-mail about when the 2016 Membership Renewal process will begin. Dues invoices will be sent out shortly and are due by March 31.

Now if we could only get some snow….
