The Philadelphia Association of Golf Course Superintendents [PAGCS] is a non-profit association, formed in 1925, in order to "promote the interchange of scientific and practical knowledge relating to the construction and maintenance of golf courses through more efficient operations, and to promote the profession of the Golf Course Superintendent."

Membership is open to -- upon approval by the Executive Board -- Golf Course Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, Affiliates, Educators, Turf Students, Retired and/or Inactive Members.

The Association maintains several committees,(i.e Education, Finance, Golf, Membership, and Public Relations) to promote and assist in the administration of Association business and activities.

The Association holds monthly meetings from April through November at various member courses to exchange ideas and develop long lasting friendships, while enjoying a round of golf followed by a great dinner.
